剧中经典神评；在小葛的蛊惑下看得。感觉剧情是想要惊悚但编剧又撑不起来，结果就是女主脑子里想的一出戏？逻辑混乱，起承转合太突兀。人物性格完全没有，也不明白女主为啥就顿悟了。总之感觉浪费时间。
在结尾的处理上，柯南伯格为女主角设置了一个「弑子」的议题（这一议题同样出现在《异形4》），并在一枪终结之后戛然而止，不给片尾字幕留下任何的过渡
这部电影的核心内容很简单，但为了使故事能够说得通，编剧和导演添加了很多神奇诡异的事件，暗指一个如同上帝般的存在、或是某种更高等级的异星生物，在人类身上实施一个人性测试，以此判定人类是否有继续存在的价值
