剧中经典神评；克制的英国传记片，不刻意渲染转折，不刻意描述所谓身残志坚，将霍金的病情的发现与变化及对于宇宙稳恒理论的反驳到宇宙大爆炸理论的确立娓娓道来，还有将霍金对于爱因斯坦相对论的理解渗透到全片的各个阶段（这对一个理科生的吸引力无疑是巨大的），本尼的演技好评（虽然身材样貌不太符合）特别是他的笑容天真纯粹，简对于霍金的崇拜、感情与坚持让人深感于心又毫不功利，还有其导师夫妻等众人的形象的描述都颇有闪光点
但是反boss演技太差导致脸谱剧透
但场面一级棒，韩国电影现在越来越厉害了，单是技术角度就没得说，三颗星全给特效，顺便羞臊一下草泥马的超强台风
