本片讲述了一个因车祸而失去女儿的父亲在他乡遇到了个脱衣舞娘而萌发出父爱的故事，而且最后他太太也加入到了这个临时家庭里面，光就剧情来说看上去各种不靠谱，但是片中几个角色的演出倒是没有多大问题，特别是看惯了克里斯汀·斯图尔特在偶像剧中的表演，这次出演这么一个另类的角色倒是颇为展示演技
第二遍才看完，刚开始真的很无聊，跟阿甘一样的叙述，看完之后整个人抑郁了，细思极恐，与阿甘不同的是这个更绝望，刚开始看不下去的叙述现在才知道他的无望，满满的心塞
