故事原型Melita Norwood是一个真共产主义者，真间谍，真心想帮助苏联，而片子改编成起初拒绝政治干涉科学，后因受广岛核爆震惊，希望苏联与西方平等拥有核实力在制衡中减少核战争可能性，才尴尬“投敌”，此外“间谍”服务期也大大缩短……看完惊讶于片中女间谍演技这么弱、发挥的角色还如此重要，居然还能幸存这么多年，一张gay照的威力这么大吗，看来英国当年怕同性恋远甚于怕红色间谍……
